Old as New - Buttons
Abandoned buttons are part of the ‘Old As New’ collection series. Inspired by the mismatched buttons in a jar we all h in our family homes.
The brooch Lost in_ is honouring what’s missing, this time with my hometown laser-cut into the piece. The needle, piercing through fabric, echoes the act of mending, both literally and metaphorically, sewing in the memory of what was lost. It holds space for absence while grounding the piece in place and identity.

Bracelet 'Made In_' features a silver button replacing a missing wooden one, honouring the original through durable material while acknowledging it can never be the same. Marked ‘Made in London,’ the new button adds identity and narrative, while its ghosted origin, ‘Ust-Kamenogorsk,’ quietly honours my hometown and the memory of what was lost. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
‘Hometown(s)’ is like a button stamped with multiple origins, Manchester, Rome, and Ust-Kamenogorsk. Though producing one object in all three places is impossible, it symbolically fuses them, much like the memories and nostalgic traces of buttons left behind in each city. Materials: Wood, leather

Left In_ reflects on buttons and memory objects left behind, fragmented and incomplete, now given a second life that honours what was lost while embracing what remains Materials: Tinted plastic, silver, brass
